Paul McParlan

Paul is a licensed Private Investigator and his practice focus is on corporate and insurance matters. He spent the first 20 years of his career as an Independent Insurance Adjuster, licensed in all lines through the Financial Service Commission of Ontario. As an adjuster, he gained considerable experience in the investigations and handling of all types of claims including automobile accident benefit and bodily injury, property loss, liability, environmental, and fraud. He has notable experience in policy interpretation, negotiations, and project managing major and lengthy investigations.

His studies include Social Sciences at John Abbott College as well as Economics and Marketing at Queen’s University. He is a current member of ASIS (American Society for Industrial Security), ACFE (Association of Certified Fraud Examiners), CASIU (Canadian Association of Special Investigations Units), and has sat on the council of the Insurance Institute of Ontario (IIO) Georgian Chapter, the executive of the Ontario Insurance Adjusters Association (OIAA) Georgian Chapter, and is a Past Chair of the American Society for Industrial Security.
